: Survival News originated as a project of Advocacy for Resources for Modern Survival (ARMS), a welfare rights organization at the University of Massachusetts. It is published by Survivors, Inc., a non-profit Massachusetts corporation. We are a group of low-income women and their allies who organize around survival issues and provide training in writing, speaking, computer skills and leadership.
